Located 5 minutes from Armacao de Pera, near Guia (towards Albufeira).
Highly recommended, especially the dolphin show, which is superb and worth the entrance fee alone.
Swimming with dolphins can be arranged. This is popular, and if you want to enjoy this special experience it is adviseable to pre-book. This can be done through their website (see below).
You might consider some of the other shows a little tacky but the children will enjoy them. All the shows take place in large covered areas, offering valuable shade throughout the day.
The aquarium is excellent, particularly the large tank containing a couple of menacing sharks, and the touch tank where fish come to the service and can be stroked.
A chance to see and experience some of nature's most beautiful sea creatures. Watch the dolphins display remarkable powers of intelligence and marine acrobatics. See the incredible film of a baby dolphin being born. Marvel at the giant Elephant Seal, Sea Lions and the amazing parrot show to name but a few attractions.
There are a few fairground rides; log flume, big wheel & carousel, to fill the time between shows. All children rides are inclusive once inside the complex.
Take your costumes if you would like to use the large pools to cool down in. A good idea in the high season, as otherwise it can get very hot.There are grassed areas around the pool for sunbathing and relaxing.
There is a large covered area with picnic tables at which to eat food from a variety of fast food style restaurants.

Krazy World
Just to the north of Algoz, a short drive from Armacao de Pera (or by courtesy bus).
Krazy World offers an unusual mix of attractions, at a relaxed pace.
In the centre there is a double pool surrounded by palm trees and palm sunshades. The joined pools are shallow, allowing smaller children to bathe (non-swimmers must be supervised). There is a poolside bar, as well as restaurant. Food is good, especially pizzas. Lunchtime parrot show.
Entrance includes two themed 18 hole crazy golf courses. Take a drink with you... it gets hot !
Krazy World also has a petting zoo, with wallabies etc.
The attraction funds the Algarve Zoo, which is on on one side of the complex. Entrance is included. The zoo houses retiles and amphibians, with regular snake displays and plenty of crocodiles!
The park has the benefit of having plenty to do, or very little if you prefer. The staff are friendly and it makes for a great day out.
