An established water park,near Quarteira, 25 minutes from Armacao de Pera.
A large water roller coaster has recently been added to this park's attractions. These include an extremely large wave pool, flumes, foam, lazy river and snake themed helter skelter, as well as another adrenaline fueled ride; the White Falls, a high drop side to side slide that is not for the faint hearted !
There is also a water park area designed for small children.
In addition to the water rides there is plenty of space to sit and relax. Food is OK.
Other attractions include exotic birds, birds of prey display, parrot show and waxwork history of Portugal.
Our younger children were disappointed with this park several years ago, as they were too small/young and not allowed on many of the rides (more noticeable than at the other parks). In 2007 (now aged 12) they loved this park, especially the water roller coaster and White Falls.

Atlantic Park is the smallest of the water parks, but does enjoy a good set of flumes, suitable for all ages, with a variety of lengths and intensity. 
There is a small junior pool, plunge pool and long / high slide.
This was the first park we ever visited, when our children were very young. They loved it then, and we still choose to go to it now. This is because the slides are good, and the park does not get too busy, even in peak season, when coach parties tend to head for the larger parks. Sitting space is limited and it is advisable to get there reasonably early.
